Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is e-Net?
  • It is alternative way of sending business-to-business transactions with very specific file specification.
  • Can I access e-Net through my Internet Browser?
  • Yes, you can. Open the browser (i.e. Internet Explorer) and int the URL field type ftp://user_name:password@enet.spanltd.com/ where user_name and password are account information that SPAN will provide you with.
  • How can I obtain e-Net account?
  • The best way to get an e-Net account is through our web site on this address:
    http://enet.spanltd.com/requests/request_id.php4
We will process your request and after approval send you account information.
  • Beside browser what other applications can I use to access e-Net?
  • You can use any ftp clients such as: cuteFTP, WsFTP, bulletProof or any other standard ftp client.
  • Why I can't deposit a file after I log in?
  • When depositing a file into Inbox make sure that file has correct file name (refer to file naming specification). If you still can not deposit a file make sure that you have a privilege to deposit those kind of files.
  • I have logged in with my browser but I can not open Transaction-log file. What should I do?
  • Browsers are set in such a way and do not allow you to open the file directly, but to work around this issue you can use right button of your mouse and click on the file. This will give you option to copy file to a folder on your hard drive. After the file is copied you can open it locally and view the content of Transaction-log file.
  • How can I check if I have deposited my files correctly?
  • To verify that files are accepted by our system you can check ACK-X-XXX.ext (X -any digit) file in your Outbox which will contain information about the file if the file has been transferred successfully or not.
  • What if I have more questions?
  • If you have another question we will be glad to answer it. Probably the fastest way to get the response from us is by sending an e-mail to enet@spanltd.com as this mailbox is monitored by several support personnel.
